If you or anyone you know has excess Durable Medical Equipment (DME) or needs some, the State of Maryland has a deal for you. DME includes walkers, wheelchairs, scooters, lift units, hospital beds, etc. The Department of Aging has a program to accept donations, refurbish them, and provide them at no cost to any Maryland resident (wheelchairs, scooters, beds, and lifts require a medical provider to complete the form).
