Our first luncheon of 2024 will be at Nick's AIrport Inn in Hagerstown, MD, on Saturday, 17 February. We have had five chapter luncheons at Nick's Airport Inn since 2017 and every one of them has been outstanding. Nick's has consistently provided a terrific room, a superb buffet and polite, pleasant and professional service. Even though Nick's must deal with almost continually rising prices, they have, once again, discounted our cost. The details are on page 9 of our January Newsletter.This year we will have two speakers: LtCol Bob Fenimore will, once again, provide us with a briefing on changes to the 2023 federal and Maryland state income tax regulations, specifically tailored to military retirees, and provide us with an update on Frederick County property taxes. LtCol Fenimore will be followed by Ms. Danielle Davis, Veteran-Owned Small Business Enterprise (VSBE) Program Compliance Manager from the Governor's Office of Small, Minority & Women Business Affairs. Ms. Davis will help us find and support veteran-owned businesses that we can support and help us understand the Governor's priorities regarding veteran-owned businesses.

We'll enjoy a terrific buffet, two outstanding speakers and the remarkable camaraderie of our membership.
