Council President 2021-2022 Bob Norton installed new (2023-2024) President Gary Palmer, 1st Vice President Cathy Hampton, and 2nd Vice President Mike Bowers at the Saturday January 14, 2023 Council of Chapters quarterly meeting. President Palmer said he would guide the Council's actions using the recently updated Goals document, which includes soon to come Maryland General Assembly and US Congress advocacy.

The Council recognized Bob's service to the Council over 6 years with a certificate and several items that related to his long contributions to MOAA.
